Find any gift

Search Amazon and the other big kids' shops in one go. Each button opens that store's results. When you find the right one, copy its price and link into “Add from any store” or into one of your child's requests.

Earn extra budget

Let my child earn extra budget by playing the math, spelling, geography and sudoku games

Daily budget for games ($)

Most they can earn in total ($)

Math questions a day

Spelling questions a day

Geography questions a day

Sudoku puzzles a day (each worth 3 questions)

Secret word puzzle: one a day, worth 3 questions Harder levels earn a little more per question

Child's age

Each math level is one school year (US grade, England year and Ontario grade are shown). Changing the age picks the level most children that age do at school; pick a higher level any time to stretch them.

Geography level (maps and flags)

Pay more for a game

Want them well rounded? Make a game they skip worth more. The daily budget is shared out, so a 2× game pays twice what the others do per question.

🌍 Geography

🔢 Sudoku

🔐 Secret word

Move up a level after 9 of 10 right, and down after 3 of 10 or fewer (no ceiling: math runs all the way to Grade 12)

Surprise bonuses Add a surprise to the budget when my child levels up or wins a trophy. They find out the amount when it happens.

Each level up ($)

Each trophy ($)

Most in surprises in total ($)

Wantasaur shares the daily budget across the day's questions and works out what each one is worth. Change any setting and everything already earned is worked out again at the new rates. Kids can keep playing after the daily questions or the total are used up; those rounds are practice and don't add money.

Add from any store

Paste a link from any store (Amazon too) and we'll fill in the name, price and photo. It shows up in your child's gifts as a family pick.

Budgets and dates

Give each occasion its own budget and date. Each one has its own wishlist and countdown. The annual budget is money for the whole year that you (or your child) can move into any budget. Lifetime savings carry over from year to year. Unused money in any budget can go back to the year budget or into lifetime savings with “Move money”.

Kids

Every child gets their own wishlists, budgets, games and trophies. Kids pick who's playing at the top of the kid view; the grown-up area shows one child at a time.

Settings

Child's nickname

Use a nickname or first name only. Wantasaur never needs your child's full name.

Country

Town or city (optional)

Country sets the currency and which shops “Find any gift” searches. The town is only used to search for shops near you.

Ask a money question each time something is added to the list

Gift search Let my child search real stores for gifts (photos and prices only; they can't open store pages)

Off until you turn it on. When it's on, the words your child types in the gift search are sent to our server to find products, and may be passed to a shopping-search service (SerpApi). We pass on only the search words and country, never who typed them. Searches that look like they hold an address, phone number, email or phrases like "my name is" are blocked, and we don't keep search histories. Please remind your child not to type real names. When it's off, your child sees gift ideas and your family picks only.

Kids' products only Lock gifts my child can't afford yet, so they earn their way to them

Never show gifts over ($, leave empty for no limit)
